Collections
Group assets into press kits that journalists can browse and download together.
Overview
Collections are press kits — named groups of assets that make it easy for journalists to find related content. For example, you might create a press kit called "Opening night" containing the photos from that evening, or a "Speaker headshots" kit with portrait photos of each keynote speaker.
Press can filter the press room by press kit, making it faster to find what they need.
Where to find it
From your event's main navigation, select Media, then Collections.
Creating a press kit
- Select New press kit.
- Enter a name for the kit.
- Optionally add a description.
- Optionally upload a cover image.
- Select Save.
Editing a press kit
- Find the press kit in the list.
- Select Edit.
- Update the name, description, or cover image.
- Select Save.
Adding assets to a press kit
Assets are assigned to a press kit from the asset detail page, not from the collections list.
To add an asset to a press kit:
- Go to Assets and open or upload the asset you want to assign.
- Set the Press kit field to the collection you want.
- Save the asset.
An asset can only belong to one press kit at a time.
Removing a press kit
Deleting a press kit does not delete the assets inside it. The assets remain in the library and are simply no longer grouped. You can reassign them to a different kit at any time.
To delete a press kit:
- Find it in the list.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
Common problems
Journalists cannot see a press kit in the press room
A press kit only appears in the press room if it contains at least one asset that the journalist is eligible to see. If the kit is empty, or all its assets are restricted to other categories, the kit will not appear.
